How Do You Become Interested

Hello everyone and welcome back to another Super Motivational Friday. Today I want to talk to you about how to have a meaningful conversation with someone and become interested in what's being said. This is important because each and every day, especially at work, we have conversations with others, be it our co-workers, bosses or underlings and sometimes they’re just not all that interesting or engaging. But it’s good to be able to enjoy your conversations and I want to help you make an effort to get the most out of them.

One of the most important things you can do in a conversation with someone you have met before is to strive to become interested in them first. For example if you are in their office take a look around and see what there is. Look for something that you find interesting and ask them about. Let the other person talk about themselves because people love to talk about themselves. When you do these things in a genuine fashion you’ll be shocked at how much people can open up. And the more they open up the deeper the conversation you’ll have will go and the more you’ll come to enjoy it.
